Customer Support Consultant

Civil Designer South Africa is looking for a Customer Support Consultant to be based at their Tokai office in Cape Town.

Qualifications.

National Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering.

Experience

  • Three to ten years’ experience in the civil infrastructure design sector.
  • Three years’ experience using Civil Designer. Civils3D experience advantageous.
  • Preferably experience in hydraulic/reticulation designs.
  • Proven proficiency in the use of software packages such as the MS Office platform and web-based CRM tools.

Job Profile / Skills.

  • Demonstrable excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to present technical software to potential clients, assist existing clients with software support and facilitate classroom training.
  • Video (screen capture) making experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong relationship with key clients to support the renewal of software licence agreements.
  • Understand and document, evolving industry design requirements to assist with future software developmental planning.
  • Code 8 driver’s licence with own transport.
  • Willing to travel away from home for at least one week a month.
